The Poles secured spots at the IEM Katowice 2022 Play-In as well as the upcoming ESL Pro League Conference. Wisla Krakow became ESL's Polish Champions on Tuesday when they came out on top in the four-team ESL Polish Championship Autumn LAN in Katowice, Poland. The finals were played between the top two teams from the regular season, HONORIS and Anonymo, along with the third and seventh placed teams, Wisla Krakow and PACT, who made their way to the offline event via a play-in among the third to eighth-placed teams in the league. ![]() The LAN's single-elimination bracket was a cutthroat affair which saw the second seed, Anonymo, immediately knocked out by Wisla Krakow before Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek and company took out Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas and Filip "NEO" Kubski's squad in the grand final to secure victory in a three-map series. The top two performers at the LAN ended up being from the Krakow-based squad, Krzysztof "Goofy" Górski and Grzegorz "jedqr" Jędras, with the former topping the charts after six maps averaging an impressive 1.30 rating. The title puts Wisla Krakow alongside TYLOO and Renegades in the running for IEM Katowice 2022, as they will play the tournament's preamble, the play-in, in February 2022. The Poles will also have a shot at making ESL's flagship league through ESL Conference later in November, going up against a slew of other national champions and DreamHack Open winners such as LDLC, Eternal Fire, GODSENT, Renegades, Sharks, Endpoint or Anonymo, the latter having made it by winning ESEA Premier.
