CLG have won first place and $10,000 in the WinOut CS:GO Championships powered by Azubu, defeating Luminosity 2-1 (16-6 on overpass, 6-16 on de_mirage, and 16-1 on de_cbble). The WinOut CS:GO Championships drew to a close on Sunday night, with the grand finals witnessing the two highest billed teams (and the two previous major attendees) of the tournament facing off: CLG and Luminosity. Since Luminosity came from the lower bracket, they would have to win two best-of-threes in order to clinch the grand final. Maps were chosen as: de_overpass, de_mirage, and de_cbble. CLG wasted no time continuing upon the victory the American-Canadian team achieved over Luminosity in the upper bracket final, taking the first map of de_overpass with a domineering 16-6 scoreline that saw Luminosity not given much room to counter or rack up rounds.
Luminosity mirrored the strangely one-sided map mindgames that had occurred in the upper bracket final as well, and a Marcelo "coldzera" David-powered Brazilian team easily picked up de_mirage 16-6, forcing the issue of a third map. That lopsided quality of map-play continued into the final map of de_cbble, where an unbreakable CLG defense easily gave the team the map with a 16-1 sweep, the best-of-three, and first place in the tournament.
